Well said Paul, my intent was to communicate the same. Maybe, the choice of words did not reflect this.

You can't usually predict future demand very precisely, nor is it what founders tend to be thinking about at the outset, so it's better not even to try. The sentence "Lots of people will want this" is a magnet for self-delusion. Better to say "I want this now."
