That's the problem with burying the lede, which incidentally seems to happen FAR TOO OFTEN these days in news writing. When you get to the end of the article and realize the facts don't support the headline at all... it's worse than burying the lede. It's something else.

I don't understand the argument. Yes, the reason the wealth of the rich has increased so much is that the stock market is up. But the stock market going up doesn't help the working class, that's the point. Alec blocked me, he doesn't like criticism.

Farhad gave a percentage increase that was generated not by looking at the beginning of the year to now, but from the bottom of the pandemic economic crash to now, wildly overstating how much the increase has been this year.

Mr. Graham, the article author does not explain why the market bottom is important. There were specific CHOICES made by officials that built the support at that level. We didn't find a vaccine that week. That's more significant in explaining the rebound that a turn of the year.
