I have a lot more sympathy for people who make typos since I started to need reading glasses. I used to think it was mere carelessness, but I make a lot more now, and I didn't suddenly become more careless.
Idea: Maybe if we try arguing that Twitter's lack of an edit button is a form of discrimination against those with poor eyesight, they'll be compelled to add it. Which is stronger, Twitter's inertia, or its wokeness? Irresistible force meets immovable object.
Or multilingual keyboards. Mine is set to type US English and French so a lot of my typos tend to be autocorrect switching to the other language. 
The increasingly “intelligent” auto-correct is often to blame.
& those with Dyslexia.
I am dyslexic so editing or being able to see mistakes is super hard. I always review my tweets with care but 1 in 5 times I just can’t see anything is wrong. I am totally blind to it until for some reason I suddenly see the mistake & it feels obvious & enormous. So frustrating
Super hard and frustrating, and sometimes people think I’m just making excuses, like these words and letters make sense but sometimes they can get really confusing
Yep, that time you decide not to use your readers ... Autocorrect has its way with you 
i don't bother in order to keep expectations low - if folks think tweet typos are a reflection on my competence, i prefer to let them hang out with their crowd
Mine is cause by dyslexia and faulty keyboard, but taking the steps to @Grammarly for review before sending that important email sometimes text helps a lot, can be a pain though sometimes, lol, sorry about your eyes also
It often seems to me as though autocorrect on my iPad changes things that were correct as I was typing them.
