If you criticize the left for this, they'll call you conservative, or even racist. Because that's what they do now. But there are differences in m.o. between left and right as well as differences in ideas, and disagreement with the former ≠ disagreement with the latter.

The left is idealistic, the right is pragmatic. America has always been pragmatic relative to Europe. The thing though about exponential technology is that it makes pragmatically possible the ideal. So the world just keeps moving left.
