Just realized you could actually take advantage of Twitter's badness in building a version 2. Since people are their worst selves on Twitter, you could use their tweets as an audition for the new service. If they're all snark and memes, don't let them in.

I see.. It would be interesting if Twitter 2.0 programmatically implemented a sense of community/mutual respect - slashing points of users if the community or the product deems you're being spiteful. Like what would happen IRL if you said something nasty to someone in a community
