Don't let the discovery of a good answer to an investor delude you into adopting the strategy for the future.
Similarly, don't be deterred from doing something just because investors don't like it. There's some signal there, sometimes, but the amount varies a lot.

There are a lot of extremely smart & great investors who will have a high miss rate at predicting something but are optimal to partner with. Few people are going to understand your users as well as you.

I will make an example of myself: I didn't like the Airbnbs' idea initially and encouraged them to work on something else. But they ignored me, and soon won me over.

Just try to dive into — communicate. I will always extend a "fight me" (on whatever.. even if wording on a slide). Intel (to me) the best at this — they'll rip each others heads-off, net productivity, then end mtgs w/ positives - sometimes go grab a bev togehter.. such CAN work!
