What percentage of YC’s success would you attribute to having Airbnb in an early batch? And vice versa?
Financially that's pretty easy to calculate. There should be public estimates of their value and the total value of all YC cos. If you mean their effect on YC's brand, maybe 5-10%. That may seem an underestimate, but YC was already fairly well known among founders.
