Last night my sons asked me all about drugs. I told them in as much detail as I could about each kind. My hope is that "fentanyl is *way* more dangerous than pot" will work better than the implicit equality of "say no to drugs."

Yeah - how addictive it is and whether it's likely to kill you or not aren't the only concerns. That chart suggests LSD's the safest drug.

It's an interesting chart, but it would be pretty important to go a little deeper on lsd. I get why it's where it is on the chart, but it's pretty misleading.

with kids, effects on mental development have to be emphasized. probably don't want a 15-year-old dosing themselves with acid even if its lethality/dependence potential are low

Death and addiction are not the only negative outcomes of pot. I had several childhood friends who spent most of their teenager days "hanging out and smoking pot", all grew up to be underachievers. My other friends who drank coffee to stay alert and get better grades are great.
