Many who don’t understand that life today is much better than in the past don’t know how bad the past was. Many who don’t believe that the future can be much, much better don’t know how bad the present is.

So why is the whole world broken? :(
Partly that some people do bad things, and partly that it hasn't had enough time to improve more than it has. But it is improving, as Max can tell you.
