This is true, but it's also not as necessary. The Republicans' model of people who vote Democrat is significantly more accurate than the Democrats' model of people who vote Republican.

I also think that if Democrat policies work, then you create more Republicans. If Dems are successful at instilling social equity, then some formerly marginalized people will adopt a self made ethos or care about their taxes.

I think there’s a *very* high chance that you encounter exceptional Republicans. Having lived in both red and blue America, neither side knows much about the other.

I think you’re 100% right about this. And the Republican machine for generating fear of the well-characterized Democrat positions is far superior to the other side. Fear remains a more powerful motivator to get a vote than most everything else.
