Way late, But Twitch to me had the same vibe. Who’s crazy enough to spend time watching others play video games?
Having heard about both at a similarly early stage, I can confirm this. But by the time Twitch came along I'd been trained to appreciate how valuable that sort of bad-sounding idea was.
