You can do whatever you’d like with student loan debt forgiveness. So long as there’s a system where neither the school nor the lender have to care about student outcomes we’re going to end up in the exact same spot.

Schools, teachers, etc having skin in the game and the ability to share in the upside of their students’ success could be the way, but students would have to be able to choose their teachers (remote?)
