The far left generates way more votes for the Republicans than the far right generates for the Democrats. Without the help of the far left, the Republicans would be much weaker.

Is it your contention that Fox News’s coverage of the left is generally accurate?
I have no idea what Fox News's coverage of the left is like. What I'm saying is that they could make the far left look sufficiently extreme by saying no more than the truth.

The same is true of the far right. Making Chesa Boudin or whoever look like the face of the Democratic Party is Fox’s entire project. It’s fundamentally dishonest and you’re validating it with this take.

And since all this strategy requires to work is a nonzero number of extremists to tie to the party with endless repetition and a giant bullhorn, it’s a pointless critique. There will always be an ideological spectrum on both sides and there should be.
