Is it surprising to hear? Most people I know have never heard of YCombinator, let alone LISP, or what a seed round is. If you’re in SF, sure that’s surprising. If you’re in Kentucky, not so much.
Seems unlikely. How would they define recursive functions in lambda calculus?
