I’m aware that some immigrants have founded very successful companies, but they didn’t make America prosperous; they came here because it was prosperous already.
O really? And was any of this pre-existing prosperity due to previous generations of immigrants, do you think? Or did the indians already have a high level of prosperity when European colonists arrived?

It would have better for the natives if the Europeans had never existed. Our prosperity is not their prosperity. I'm not so sure that the success of the CEO of Dropbox is much more of a win for the people who are already here.
