Incidentally, the way to create a Twitter competitor is not to launch a head-on attack with a Twitter clone. It's to make something slightly different (ideally because it fixes Twitter's flaws) and that people only later realize has replaced Twitter for them.

If you were banned, then it is fixing a twitter flaw for you. It’s interesting how once the number of people exiled reaches a critical mass there is an opportunity to build a counter community.Parler is like how voat is to Reddit, and voat today is distillation of hate and racism

But the lifeblood of twitter is that it already holds quorum for where the most interesting ppl are active and accessible online. Even if reg user adoption is lagging, this is the hardest demo to court I wouldn’t want to make a T competitor and I have a long list of its flaws
