Someone shared this with me yesterday. "People who voted for Biden, hated Trump, but the people who voted for Trump, love Trump"

And it's a pretty terrible assumption to think they all love Trump. Actually a ridiculous assumption to assume half of the US agrees on much of anything let alone loving one person. Initiate some conversations. Try ? > !

Given how much less reliable polls have been over the past 4 years, I'm not sure we've got the grounds to make statements like this anymore. There seems to be more at work that we're just not able to pickup on yet.

This is exactly right. The driving force of his candidacy is basically "own the libs".

I think you're underestimating the echo chambers of disinformation that large swaths of Trump voters embrace/d as truth. Many of them hate Biden and Harris, but for reasons that are patently false.

*correction. Hate the game, not the player. They hate Government oversight that infringes on personal freedoms and government deciding what's best for individuals and taking 30-70% of every dollar for themselves. This is more granular:https://twitter.com/EricRWeinstein/status/1321990117200850944?s=20 …

A large chunk of R don't like Trump but Liberals w/o pushback confiscate freedoms. They don't respect people w/ different viewpoints. Left blames based on birth characteristics. Left prefers Type II errors on broad scale (government) w/ argument that Type I errors are worse.

This. A lot of them explicitly said that they didn't fear Biden himself, they feared the people Biden would carry with him into power. As an illustration of this, there were a whole lot of jokes about him resigning January 21st, or being pushed out shortly thereafter.

Those people are the people who are afraid to say "I am afraid of Kamala." They are even more afraid to say why.
