Itseems reasonable to associate fairness with closeness since in every election the level of fraud is very low but non-zero. The closer the election, especially if decided by only one state the more likely fraud influenced the outcome. Current election isn't very close.

Ignoring fraud for a second, if we ever got to an election decided by <50 votes in a single state that is within the honest error rate of ballot counting.
