The fact that the most popular Apple laptops are still spec'd to have a max of 16 GB of RAM is exactly why I am building Mighty. The level of innovation & progress is abysmally slow in desk computing.

The next Jobs is breaking away from the iOS and Android duopoly, I don't count Fuchsia as one because as any Google project it has a high probability of being killed, but also that it is owned by a large corp. Anyways, next big breakthrough will come in mobile computing, again.

One day time-sharing will finally go mainstream. It's already happening in gaming with Stadia etc. Client/server dichotomy is redundant for most applications which fully depend on the server anyway.
