Honest question: Does it harm media companies that the easiest draw of rage clicks in a very long time is about to be out of office?

I think so. It certainly helped them when he was in office.
But maybe they can keep the clicks coming if they whip up some culture wars on their own account.

For sure they will, they learned that being a tabloid, gossip or soccer fan magazine drives more revenue than being factual. Trump was never the cause, just a symptom, the illness has deep roots.
