Seriously, it's delusional to suggest that this was just a simple "ask" of voters. This was an expertly crafted bill, complex enough to market with a message; capital working for itself in a completely logical way—but influence begetting influence nonetheless.

Based on the current state of US politics and overreaching influence social media has on voter base, they didn't ask the voters which labor laws they prefer, mostly they shoved it down their throats with ads, ads, "branded content,' and more ads.

and I love the convenience Uber and Lyft...just have to really call it for what it is, a brilliant lobbying and marketing campaign to get the their intended outcome.

SSure Paul.....but next time an Uber driver claims they need unemployment insurance .....i suggest we send the invoice to Uber.....rather than those of us that paid into the system the right way. Im still yet to see anyone who supported Prop 22 explain this position.
