Let me put the hypothesis in terms you may understand: Voter acquisition cost for Dems is much lower in communities of color than it is in white communities. Separately, you should know better than trusting exit polls days after the election, especially with such a small sample
Are there good estimates how much noise elections have? E.g. in germany, it is known that good weather influences turnout. I wonder how much of a difference one needs to have something above the "margin of error" of elections to measure the actual will of a demographic.
I'd assume if you're non-white and planning to vote for Trump you're much more likely do so in-person and so potentially be included in an exit poll. Won't that skew that percentage higher?
Not necessarily, exit polling generally is a small piece of a larger picture. Exit Polling is also inconsistent in its application and happens more often during the week of, and Election day rather than during early voting like it probably should.
