Competence is not a very exciting-sounding quality, but it's the most important one to have in a president, especially in tough times. It's why I voted for Biden, and I hope you'll join me.

I'm curious how you see this. In your view is he competent or simply "more competent" than the alternative? How do you think about this?

I think he will be reasonable, will listen to experts, and will choose appointees based on their ability rather than their loyalty. All three will be a dramatic change.

Kamala Harris is a reasonable moderate by any standard. She'll pay lip service to the progressive wing from time to time but she was Wall Street's top choice for Biden's running mate.

It seems like Trump always has to be the smartest in the room. Which limits the quality in the advice he receives.

People are too focused on current issues. How often has the defining event of a presidency been one that was totally unforeseen during the election? How they make decisions is more important than where they stand on today's topics.

I find it hard to untangle the incompetence of Trump vs the huge bias against Trump in the media. We have to go directly to the source to make our own mind.

His incompetence is laughably obvious. What is there to disentangle?

Listening to experts should really be one of the top jobs of a leader. We can't expect them to specialize in so many areas.

""" experts""' So u want some puppet without any agency sitting at the top position so someone else could make the tough decisions. But don't call biden "competent" because of this, anyone is capable of that. Some of us actually want the President himself making those decisions
