In their heart of hearts, how do hard-left activists *actually* feel about center-left technocrats?

There's no such thing as a technocrat who is an accidental moderate. In business, sure. In politics, impossible.https://www.amazon.com/You-Cant-Neutral-Moving-Train/dp/0807071277 …

Question: It's critical an accidental moderate comes to their own conclusion about questions asked and come up with their own questions. What test should we give that says "This person's ideas are independently concluded?". How can anyone know they are an accidental moderate?

You hinted that the distribution of their beliefs is all over the place and averages to zero. But this could also be a sign of someone with incoherent beliefs since beliefs in one domain have influence in others.

It seems on average, the accidental moderate would want fewer changes than both the right and the left. Since it's clear society today looks more like what the right wants than the left, then the accidental moderate is a bigger obstacle to the left no?
