As a result, I'm now noticing that in the last 5 elections all the GOP states (other than Alaska) were contiguous. But even in a Biden landslide (winning Texas, Georgia, Iowa) the Dems won't be. I guess if you count MI/WI as touching at the north and winning NE-2 as counting...
