Pitch decks, investor updates, board meetings, marketing launches & landing pages, or filling out a Y Combinator application are all moments where you're forced to distill down the essential. They may seem like a means to an end but they force you to clarify the end-state.
Also office hours. In fact this is a significant part of the value of office hours.
