Of course it's not automatically preferable. It depends which companies they are. If it was automatically preferable, late-stage investing wouldn't exist.
My implication was that all companies in both portfolios were seed stage companies (which Quibi was), not growth stage companies I think anyone investing (properly) at Seed automatically chooses the former.
