Is there good criticism out there of the "Political Trichotomy" analysis? It at least has some surface plausibility.https://www.bitchute.com/video/430ELEIFhQk/ …

Wow, Twitter won't let people directly follow this link, but doesn't say specifically why. Just gives a list of varied possibilities.

Yeah, it's pretty dishonest the way they deliberately conflate content they don't want you to see with sites with malicious javascript. They almost certainly distinguish internally, so this was a conscious choice.

Consequent does not follow from antecedent. They can distinguish internally but still only have one existing facility for producing a warning. (This is in no way a defense of anything twitter, just the logic does not hold.)

It would take under 5 minutes for one developer to change that warning to mention the specific issue.

Based on this rating, it sounds like malware isn’t the issue: https://safeweb.norton.com/report/show?url=bitchute.com … Based on this discussion, it sounds like Bitchute hosts content that a lot of people find objectionable: https://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/bitchute.com … My hunch is Twitter is trying to protect us from wrongthink.

Funny. The presence of the forbidden domain name in the query parameters of the http://norton.com  URL triggers the filter.

Twitter's interfaces regularly dishonest in ways that persist for years, implying little internal cultural value for honesty: "this tweet is unavailable" "see less often" "you were away for a while, now back 'home'" "unusual activity, give us your phone #" "link harmful" …
