I just realized that I may follow more professors at @GeorgeMasonU than any other university. There is a clearly something special going on there. It's like a Los Alamos of independent-mindedness.

It's part of a wider trend, top IVY league schools no longer provide independent critical opinions. It's a progressive, not to say puritan, echo chamber. We need to look elsewhere for "old school" critical thinking.

I grant that you've had many successes in your life, but "there is something special because I follow it" has a really deep conceit confirmation bias to it. I mean, this is the university that received a huge Koch grant to "be more Conservative".
