I dream in code. Not always, but when I'm working on a coding project. And often, when I go to bed, even if I'm not particularly thinking about a coding problem, when I wake up, I'll have a solution.

It also puzzles me, since so many people worked on infinitely nested radicals before him. Viete's π formula 2/π = √2/2⋅√(2+√2)/2⋅√(2+√(2+√2))/2... was discovered almost 300 years earlier! A testament to Ramanujan's unique talent for uncovering wonderful identities.

Even if anybody knew before him, it is that Ramanujam didn't have any formal education. It is his limited, but equally profound knowledge that makes it more great.
