8 yo invented a new game. He pretends to be a reporter asking me questions, and then makes up headlines misrepresenting what I said. I'm not making this up.

What was said that was the catalyst for this misrepresentation?
I said it jokingly once to a reporter. He got that it was a joke, and made that clear when he printed it. But once it was printed, lots of other people eagerly quoted it, because it was how they wanted to believe investors operate.

It's a system of people like you and mewho have our biasws and the number of people making these funding decisions compared to the larger population is miniscule and therefore heavily centralized. Not too far off from other planned economies of the past.
