      The only part of the so-called startup curve I named was the Trough of Sorrow. The other names were added by Trevor Blackwell, mostly (e.g. Crash of Ineptitude, Upside of Buyer) as a somewhat cynical joke.pic.twitter.com/4DlyhWiaXg

      Thank for you interest! The two jumps in 2019 were from marketing promotions. We offered a significant discount (I believe 50%) to our registered userbase during the summer and then again for Thanksgiving/Black Friday.

      We believe Covid is likely affecting our usage. We provide invoicing services, less sales means less traffic. We're about to release a new version of our app built with @FlutterDev. We've been able to build web/mobile/desktop apps with one codebase. http://demo.invoiceninja.com  🚀

      The second spike was a response to our newsletter for the beta release of the new version of our app

          Exactly! This is a complete rewrite of our app. We've taken our existing feature set and have added the most requested features from GitHub. We're just building what our users are asking for, this really smart guy I know told me it would work 🙏

          Also... I believe one of the keys to our success has been providing an open-source SaaS app similar to WordPress. Our selfhost/GitHub community tell us what to build while our hosted users pay us to build it.
