I'd been wondering if there's a pattern here, and I just saw one. These are all very low-tech. These are all skills people could have had 500 years ago.
I have a further theory, though this is speculative: perhaps the people with these skills are people who simply haven't lost abilities that everyone had when we were hunter-gatherers.
Probably. Many of these anachronistic skills still exist. Like body-building for men. Serves zero functional purpose today but thousands of years of natural selection make it innate.

I have often wonder if modern widespread myopia (in the literal sense) is a symptom of genetic selection pressures being removed, or staring at books (now screens) from a very early age. Likely both...?

There's a part in "Why We Sleep" by @sleepdiplomat about natural night owls (30% of population IIRC) vs. early birds vs normal sleepers. Basically humanity is still hard-wired to have people who can stay awake to guard the tribe at night.
At an individual level, us humans haven’t changed much since we were hunter-gatherers. What really changed is our ability to collaborate so effectively to achieve the things we’ve achieved since then. Its called the cultural evolution.
