If the worst thing you can say about Silicon Valley is that it's typical of the way we do business in America, then this is really more of a statement of your dissatisfaction with America than a statement about these specific companies.
Essentially you're saying "These companies are exactly like other companies in America, just way more effective." And that may indeed be a valid criticism. But is it not a very strong one.
