Essentially you're saying "These companies are exactly like other companies in America, just way more effective." And that may indeed be a valid criticism. But is it not a very strong one.

Hypergrowth to become a dominant player and take oldies into new tech is OK. Using dominance to stifle innovation in the same space in other startups is NOT OK.

Not dissatisfied with “America,” but the way America’s lax regulation and business-friendly laws work against the citizenry. The point of the column was that you can’t pin this on tech. But that doesn’t get those companies off the hook for partaking.
