Have you considered, possibly, that when you are obscenely wealthy your worldview may be skewed and not have great grasp of others real problems?
Of course. It's hard for anyone to understand others' problems. Hard for the young to understand the problems of the old, hard for people in country x to understand the problems of those in country y. You need to make a conscious effort. But if you do, you can get a lot further.
