What random, mostly useless, thing are you surprisingly good at? (Jessica's is remembering the names of people's children. Mine is guessing when things were made.)

I have lots of things I’m surprisingly bad at (like noticing new vase of flowers on the dinner table where we just ate) or being able to see images in my head. My one son can estimate the temperature surprisingly accurately

My girlfriend has the exact same skill. She’s completely useless as a team mate in a game of ‘Trivial Pursuit’ though. One of life’s little mysteries.

Do I remember correctly she has some sicilian heritage? Remembering other people kids names here is a matter of life or death in social interactions.

My wife can name basically everyone she’s ever met or heard of. It’s a very impressive byproduct of a critical evolutionary characteristic for a social, story-telling creature.
