I'm a #1 China, #2 Economy, #3 Wokeism, issue voter. Trump's better on all 3 of those IMO. China is so much more dangerous to civil rights and freedom than anything Trump might tweet.
I agree with you, but what you need to resist China is a strong, well-run state, and even Republicans agree, off the record, that Trump's White House has been an amateur hour. What you need to resist China is competence in the layer that Trump dismisses as the "deep state."

We'll see. I find ultra-wealthy Republicans don't like him but the actual conservative voters love him. Even if it was amateur hour, he's done a lot of what he said he'd do. And the peace deals with Israel and the Middle East are incredibly promising.

Why should we listen to the people that weren't willing to stand up to China, or work to remove America from endless wars? What you're saying seems to make sense in the surface, but doesn't pass the sniff test, as there has been no history of standing up to China.
