What's novel in our era is that we can *hear* the haters, thanks to social media. But they were always there.

Lots of people finally have a way to cry for help. (I’m increasingly convinced that’s what’s happening.) Before now they had no choice but to suffer in obscurity. Maybe more Good Guys will see this as an opportunity to address whatever-it-is this is.
