When I was at school, we once had a police officer visit us and give a talk. He said that when people get famous, without their knowing, they attract hatred/jealousy. For some reason that’s the only thing I remember from his talk :)

What's novel in our era is that we can *hear* the haters, thanks to social media. But they were always there.

Lots of people finally have a way to cry for help. (I’m increasingly convinced that’s what’s happening.) Before now they had no choice but to suffer in obscurity. Maybe more Good Guys will see this as an opportunity to address whatever-it-is this is.
