I think there’s a clear parallel to the theory of “little bets” - if you get exposed to many things, some of them will spark an interest and lead to flow/obsessiveness. Exactly! Might be a funnel here: 1. Get exposed to 300 things as a kid 2. Get interested in 20-30 of them 2. Get obsessed by 10 of them 3. 3 of them become research topics 4. You make one discovery
