I don't think it's a matter of personal risk assessment. Mask usage only works if a majority of people use it, and non conformance reinforces itself, so the right thing to do is to wear the mask, regardless of whether you feel you need it or not.

Vaccines are designed to elicit a strong, long-term immune response and contain adjuvants to further amplify their effect. And then they will probably require a booster shot. In contrast, the immune response to being ill has to last only long enough to clear the virus.
