I don’t understand these theories that Trump is faking his illness. Bringing attention to his handling of coronavirus is much worse for him than any other news cycle. Unlike the debates, swing voters are paying attention.
If he tried that, it would be hard to prevent it from leaking. The Trump White House is chaotic and thus very leaky.

Leaks largely have no effect on Trump. He and his cronies just deny the scandals and cast enough doubt to dull the impact.
