It also shows that a small portion of people (on social media) is often seen as the avg citizen and their popular opinion. Politicians and media target/please them a lot more than they should imo.

@dickc is still on the platform after what he wrote yesterday. People have been banned for trivial things; this guy calls for mass killings and nothing. -

I disagree on this one. Journalism should always remain independent from public opinion. As the founders noted, the public is fickle and opinions change like wildfire, and all voices--especially the minority voice--needs expression and protection.
