You're doing the right thing.
Just realized that Jessica and I have donated more to defeating Trump than to any other cause. Which sucks. As in literally sucks huge amounts of money away from important problems. This is a hidden but very significant cost of increasing polarization.

Destroying Trump will reduce polarization, because his entire strategy is to increase polarization as a means of motivating his base.

Well the money eventually ends up in someone’s else hands, advertisers, marketers, campaign staff, etc. but now they get to decide what to do with it. So it doesn’t actually disappear or anything. Just different distribution.
