Unfortunately, immune responses don't always succeed, especially when the pathogen targets the immune system. I'm not saying that the President is HIV, but I can't think of a better analogy for his attacks on the electoral process.
The number of people working hard on this election is inspiring. It's like a giant, collective immune response.
