There is no city called Constantinople unfortunately, it has been named (and called) Istanbul for the past 500 years or so
That's not true, incidentally. Officially it continued to be called Constantinople (Konstantiniyye) long after it was captured by the Turks. And informally it was called Istanbul long before it was captured.

I had the impression that you were referring to the current times and as an Istanbul resident never once in my 30 year life I’ve heard anyone call it that. Thanks for the clarification though!
