When you realize that the main constraint to progress is that there aren't enough good ideas, not that there isn't enough capital, that will make you feel a lot more powerful--because anyone, no matter how rich or poor, can come up with good ideas that change the world.
I realize that startups are only a subset of progress, but in this subset, at least, the limiting factor is the number of good founders, not the number of good ideas.

You're right. But I would argue that a prerequisite for being a good founder is having good original ideas.

from my experience that is true it the public sector as well. Plenty of ideas, not enough good leaders or employees.
