It's disappointing to be rejected by a school you apply to, but it's not a signal with meaning. It's not some kind of assay of your potential.

I know Bessemer publically lists their companies they turned down- or at least the companies they turned down that went on to became successful. Would be cool to see YC do something similar.https://www.bvp.com/anti-portfolio/

Yeah that is brilliant, especially the bit where in 1999 they are at the house with the garage where Larry and Sergey are starting Google, and ask the host how to get out without going close to the garage.
