It’s affecting medicine and biology papers as well if I’m not mistaken. Social science feels like the low hanging fruit in the replication crisis.

it affects everything. Scientists might be more well read in their fields but other than that they are not budhists monks, their are susceptible to pride, fear, gluttony, despair etc. as "normal" people (maybe even more, fortified in their Towers of Biases)

There is a natural science that utilizes direct observation to describe, measure, and understand the effects on interventions. It relies heavily on single case designs. Social science is more akin to dowsing.
